Red Tornado 55501 Raw Selvedge Jeans Loose Straight Leg Button Fly Denim Trousers for Men - 100% Cotton, 14oz selvedge denim - Inspired by the Lev1s 501 1955 Model - 5-pocket configuration - Blue sewing threads - Loose cut with straight legs - One-wash, little or no shrinkage to be expected A Note on Leg Twist in Raw Selvedge Denim You may notice a slight twist in the legs — this is completely normal for raw selvedge denim. Because the fabric keeps its original woven edges, it can't go through the same heat-setting process as regular denim, so the natural tension in the weave releases when wet, causing a gentle twist. It's a signature trait of traditional craftsmanship, not a flaw — and part of what makes each pair age beautifully and uniquely.
